Topball 850 Rollerball Refill, 0.5 mm, European Size, Blue Ink, Box of 10 Refills (8503)

I had to choose whether to buy two or 10. Nobody really needs 10 refills but for the price I couldn't turn it down. These refills are genuine, authentic and right like a dream. And maybe it'll give me excuse to use one of my favorite pens more often.

Best refill for a reasonable price for a rollerball the only other I like better is the ohto which is 5x the price

...almost too well. My wife borrowed my pen and gave it back to me in a poorly lit room. I wasn't aware she didn't replace the cap before returning it, and I put it in my pocket. The ink bled into my shirt and I have yet been able to remove the stain. The reason I dropped a star was due to the limitation of having to purchase a minimum of a 10-pack. My fear is I will not be able to use them all before they get old and begin to dry because of time, thereby making my per-refill more expensive than necessary.

I have a fancy rollerball from the 90s, (Visconti Manhattan in green celluloid,) and I was having trouble finding a refill that fit. I finally found that these Schneider Topball 850 refills fit almost perfectly. When my last one finally ran dry, I found these on sale, 10 for $15.70. These will last me my lifetime and I’ll pass them down to my grandson. H

This refill makes the pen write like a fountain pen. I write a lot, hand-write many invoices every day. It adds that little extra to my penmanship. One refill lasts me about a month.

Bon produit abordable qui fait le job sans problème

Ich hatte lange einen Parker Sonnett Tintenroller im Einsatz. Igrendwann, so etwa vor 15 Jahren, empfand ich die Schreibqualität der Parker-Tintenrollerminen als nicht mehr akzeptabel und bin dann auf Kugelschreiber und von da auf Füllhalter umgestiegen, u. a. auch wegen des guten Kontrastes des Schriftbildes. Durch die Reisetätigkeit wurde das Befüllen mit dem Kolbenkonverter irgendwie lästig und Patronen gab es nicht oder nur zu horrenden Preisen. Ein Versuch den "alten Parker" wieder zum Leben zu erwecken scheiterte, weil die Mine die ich frisch gekauft hatte nur kleckste und auch nicht präzise anschrieb. Mehr oder minder durch Zufall habe ich dann vor etwa zwei Monaten einen Faber Castell Ambition Tintenroller erstanden und bin über einen Link auf die Topball 850 gestoßen. Seit der Zeit verwende ich die Topball 850 in blau in diesem Roller. Sie schreibt sehr fein und auch präzise an. Ob Notizen oder auch Kalendereinträge - alles kann groß und deutlich oder klein und fein verfasst werden. Ich verwende dabei Notizbücher von Leuchtturm, Moleskin und König&Ebhardt sowie Ringbucheinlagen von Herlitz und Brunnen. Auf Kopierpapier von Planospeed läuft sie auch einwandfrei. Auf keinem der Papiere kann ich "Durchbluten" festellen. Markieren mit Textmarker funktioniert bei getrockneter Tinte ebenfalls einwandfrei (Trocknungszeiten habe ich nicht ermittelt). Außer im Faber Castell Ambition habe ich die Mine noch getestet in Porsche TechFlex -> passt Waterman Exclusive -> passt Waterman Man 200 -> passt, aber Kappe schliesst nicht vollständig Waterman Laureat -> passt Sheaffer 100 -> passt (hinzugefügt 07.05.2016) Fazit: Eine tolle Mine für den täglichen Gebrauch, zu einem super Preis, die möglicherweise aber nicht überall passt.
