This organic sea buckthorn oil has excellent deep moisturizing properties! It reminds me of castor oil because of its similar subtle, nutty aroma. Although the oil isn't quite as thick or sticky as castor oil, it has a bit more substance and thickness to it than almond oil or grapeseed oil, for example. The color is a vibrant orange-red that can stain clothing if you're not careful. It goes on nice and clear on your skin. This sea buckthorn oil feels very soothing and nourishing on my parched skin. My face has been extra dry all winter, and I'd have to say that this is one of the most hydrating plant oils I've ever tried, without being overly sticky like castor oil (but with similar moisturizing, anti-inflammatory and antifungal properties). However, it works better as a nighttime oil if you're using it straight from the bottle for your face. It's perfect for very dry or mature skin and for those with skin issues like eczema and acne. It also works really well to banish flakiness and redness, and to heal scars and fine lines. I like the pump bottle, but it works best if you tip it towards your open hand when you dispense it. Otherwise, the oil tends to drip down the side of the bottle and you waste a little bit each time. I just used this oil in an amazing moisturizing face wash. Overall, this is a fantastic plant oil and I'm totally pleased with its instant vitamin-infused skin benefits! Excellent stuff!♡

This is my favorite Sea Buckthorn brand! I also take gel caps. I live in Arizona where it is extremely dry! Plus, I have always had naturally dry skin, except in my T-zone, this helps even that! When reading about Sea Buckthorn I read several reviews of other brands and knew they were not good because the buyers complained of the bad smell…. This brand is wonderful and I know it is fresh and has not been sitting for years, spoiling! Sea Buckthorn oil from the berries has a very mild floral scent. I have to be careful with strong scents, even some essential oils are too much for me. This is so mild, once it is on you don’t really notice it. Not just for skin. It’s great for hair and scalp! Put it in a dropper and apply directly to your scalp and massage in. You can wash after a couple of hours or if you won’t be going anywhere for a couple days, leave it in for a deep condition, then wash as usual. While it’s in brush from scalp to tips using a boars hair brush, to strengthen and repair split ends. It’s also great for pups! Now I would not go dumping this gold on a huge pupper, however, if your pup has hotspots or dry patches this is excellent for soothing irritation. Personally, we have two little almost hairless (covered in a light peach fuzz 🥰) Chi’s, that only weigh 8ish pounds each. I don’t feel guilty lathering them up in this awesome goodness! Only takes about a pump per pup. Before I did they were having all kinds of skin issues (Arizona dryness). Now they’re soft lil’ bunnies. 😂 So, if you are not sure if you want to buy this or not… BUY IT! You will not be disappointed! I am using the sea buckthorn seed oil to repair compromised skin barrier. It is working so well that I ordered a second bottle. At first I was using it with some nilotica shea butter. Then I learned high concentrations of oleic acid (as in shea nilotica) are best avoided on compromised skin barrier. Even so the sea buckthorn was working its magic. To be safe, I made a mix of jojoba oil, lanolin oil and the sea buckthorn seed oil, and in a matter of days the dryness and itch was gone, and I was even able to drop the "gentle skin cleanser" and resume the use of good old Castlile soap (my favorite way to wash). Kudos to the seller for fast dispatch of carefully packaged, fresh oil.

I use this oil on my face everyday! Forget the potions and creams, ‘this oil, pumpkin seed oil and vitamin c oil is what I use every morning and this with vitamin a oil from tree of life in the evening. ( peeps never know my age) but... one day, we were camping and my son got sunburnt so bad on his face that he looked a purple red color... he even got sun sick and fell asleep. While sleeping I just thought he needed some moisture on his face, so I put what I had with me... and this worked! No.like miracle worked! He woke up 45 minutes later ( he was only 7 at the time so younger bodies seem to recover faster ) he woke up and his face was no longer purple. Just a pink color. Next morning he face was just a beautiful brown. Yet. What is the best thing, he never peeled. Now, I put this oil on them anytime any redness shows up from any sun ( the sooner the better I have noticed) But like I say, I put this on my skin after I clean my face everyday and my skin has only improved. Buy it. You will not be sorry. ❣️( no real scent to this .. it’s rather neutral )

It made my husbands grey beard orange. lol nothing serious goes away. No oder and absorbs quickly. I think its great for dry skin and hair.

I purchased this item in April and held off to write the review till I had come to the end of the bottle I'm extremely satisfied with the product it's not a sticky oil as some are it applies evenly although it's color is orange it does not stain the skin I will be purchasing another bottle it's not too thick it's not too thin it's perfect

I really like Seabuckthorn E.O., it pairs so nicely with raspberry E.O.. It tones, renews the skin nicely. I also added both to my homemade lotion too, which I am loving.Will purchase more in the future.

It has a mild smell in the right color I'm just wondering I haven't seen any results that are significant but I do like it it's only been a couple of weeks of me using it so too early to tell now. The texture is good as well
