Came with everything, does the job, stands upright completely, no tilting, no weights needed.

You may have to finish manufacturing the vertec yourself
Had to re-tap threads myself because the wing nut provided was of different size. Also doesn't come with any plates to weigh it down as shown in most photos. I don't mind when companies make mistakes, as we all do at times. But when I told the company I had to re-tap the thread myself, they said, "sorry." Sorry doesn't mean anything in business. As a business owner myself, if I make a mistake, I do something to make things better for the client. It's called having some integrity.

Great Product for Vertical Jump Testing
The Vertec is the most accurate means of testing vertical jump within the price-range. It is a well built system that enables the testing of large applicant groups.

Not Portrayed as Advertised
If you look closely at the picture, there's supposed to be weighted plates that are attached to the base of the VERTEC. There's no weight plates. Apparently the picture is 10 years old and the vendor does not provide a definitive description of what you will be purchasing. Wish I never purchased it!

Terrible design
The telescopic tube design is awful. The directions say to spray WD40 on it if it doesn't move. Brand new it was very difficult to extend. Could not easily determine dimension either. Don't buy!

Very durable piece of equipment. Easy to adjust. Used in a gym not only to measure vertical but to execute routine exercises
