Basecamp in under a minute
This thing’s built like it wants bad weather. I’ve deployed the OVS Nomadic 180 in wind, rain, and those “why do I camp here?” moments — it’s never flinched. One pull, swing it out, lock it down, and suddenly you’ve got a full wall of shade and dry space that actually feels dialed in. The hinges and arms are beefy, the canvas is thick, and setup’s easy enough to do solo while holding coffee. Folds back up clean, straps tight, and doesn’t rattle on the road. Simple setup and seems to be quality

Great if you can put it away.
These open up nice. I can't get it to close all the way. Flaps hang out. The case it folds into is too tight. I'm afraid I'm going to rip it or break the zipper. So i have s flapping awning while driving.

Great awning for a VW Westfalia!
This is now on my 1983 VW Westfalia. Well worth the money - quality unit and super quick easy one person setup and take-down. Perfect size. I already had mounted 2 Northwesty awning brackets on the car for another awning which was difficult to set up and cheaply made. I adapted them to work with this awning by cutting off part of the included L brackets and redrilling some holes. I highly recommend this awning. This is reasonably priced for what you get.

Becareful re packing the awning and no customer service
Only issue is repacking the awning. Be careful zipping it up, material got stuck in the zipper and loss a tooth on the zipper. Also wish it had paper instructions vs going online. Also I reached out to the company but they never responded.
