Exactly what I needed
Fits easily down my small drain and is easy to use. Exactly what I needed and much cheaper than repeatedly buying drano only for it to "somewhat" work. Got the clog right out and my sink runs fine now.

Works
I needed this to open a bathtub drain. I removed the over flow cover on the tub and inserted the drain snake. The snake being thin was able to go through the bathtub trap. After a few minutes I was able to remove the blockage of hair. After using snake wiped I it off and coated with vegetable spray to keep it from rusting.

Well Made but It May Not Work for Your Clog
The Cobra 00710 Skinny Snake Drain Cleaner is well made and seems rugged, but it did not clear my clog. Rather than blaming Cobra and giving it one star, I want to recognize the fact that the problem for me could be how my plumbing is routed. I managed to get this snake about 5 feet into my tub drain, but I ran into either a pipe turn or the clog, and I just could not get beyond this. I got some of the clog out with this. You do need to manually turn the housing. It is not powered by electricity. It has no crank-style handle. The thumbscrew is nice. This is the only snake I have bought that fits into my tub drain, which is a normal size but contains an old-fashioned and seemingly complicated stopper mechanism that blocks most larger snakes from entering the drain pipe. Don't blame the product if the problem is not the product's fault. It is a little difficult for me to rewind the snake.

Amazon should remove this product
Amazon should take this off their website. Hundreds of people (including me) are testifying that the rotation needed for proper snake functioning is impossible with this "tool."

Worked almost instantly on a clog 5 feet below the bathroom sink
My bathroom sink was running slow, and I knew I needed to snake the drain, so first I tried some gel Clog Remover, but this just condensed the clog to the point that the sink would not drain, nothing but standing water, full of dangerous chemicals. I didn't want to remove the J-trap just yet, so I bought the Cobra Enterprises 00710 Skinny Snake Drain Cleaner, which arrived the next day. I already have a drain snake, but it is too big to fit through my bathroom sink strainer. The Skinny Snake has 1/8" diameter, so it fit right into my sink strainer. I fed the snake down the drain a few inches at a time, locked and then slowly turned the unit, repeating until I got about 5 feet of coil out, after which the sink drained instantly. I pulled the snake out and put it away. I think now the drain is actually draining better than it ever has.

Very thin. Good for condensate lines.
It looks like the end should rotate separately from the rest of the body but it doesn't. Pretty stupid design actually because when you try to push the snake back into the body for storage, it just comes out the back....Unless I'm missing something. Good for a small uses like AC condensate lines or even rubber tubing. I guess it was worth the 10 bucks I blew on it. It's hard to believe people are rodding tubs with this though because it's pretty small.

Did the trick when many attempts with chemicals failed
Worked great for clearing my walk-in shower drain that had years of calcified gunk build-up from culprit moisturizing shampoos. I’ve learned that many shampoos marketed as ‘moisture’ formula create a glue-like residue that sticks to hair and water minerals. I looked down my drain pipe and saw ‘stalagmite’ formations constricting the flow. This skinny snake works wonders fiting thru the drain cover which I could not remove. I was able to nudge it down 8 feet to poke thru the clog and repeatedly turn the snake to scrub all along the inside of the pipe. Much better for your pipes to use a snake like this than risky chemicals that could cause damage or make clogs even worse if not used precisely.

Thank you Cobra drain cleaner and Mercury Stardust!
Bought this on recommendation by Mercury Stardust on Tiktok. It was my last try on clearing the clog in my tub before giving up and calling my apartment's crappy maintenance. It worked! It fished out the dryer sheet? and hair clog and now my drain works perfectly. Super easy to use, only suggestion I have is to turn it counterclockwise with the set screw tightened when you go to pull it out. Before I tried that I had a moment of panic that this thing was stuck several feet into my drain. It's a little difficult to remove the hair wound around the coil at the end but I'm sure some scissors and/or a little pokey tool of some sort would help. All in all super happy this worked and will be recommending it to anyone I know with drain clog issues!

I've been living with a slow draining tub for months. Plunging, vinegar and baking soda and the plastic snakes with barbs were not doing anything. So before using chemicals or getting a plumber I thought I'd try getting a snake. So glad I chose this one it worked amazing. You have to follow directions. I didn't know what I was doing but I found it easier to go through the water overflow hole in the tub so I took that cover off and went from there. I was having trouble pushing it down the pipe from the regular drain. I didn't know if it was struggling to get down the pipe or hit a clog but I definitely couldn't pull it back up are a bit, i thought i would break the pipes it was stuck good! So i just followed the instructions and locked it and turned it and was eventually able to pull it out with all the disgusting clog with it. Soooo satisfying

I live in a condo and always had issues with clogs. I've usually been able to clear them with my plunger but this time, not even the heavy duty crystal drain clog dissolver would budge it. I took a chance on this thing and stuffed it down the drain as far as I could then kept twisting the base until the snake inserted to the opening of the drain. I then released another foot, tightened the screw and kept twisting, then repeated. After about 6 feet was twisted in, the water just drained out. It was miraculous to see!!! So happy I bought this snake and I didn't have to take the drain apart to use it, it just fit right through the center drain opening, which is about a centimeter wide. Brilliant!!!!

We had a total blockage in our Kitchen Sink and have tried 2 types of chemicals to unclog it with no success. We wanted to use a drain snake but the biggest challenge is that the Sink Drain's holes are small, only about 5/16" each in diameter. This Skinny Snake Drain is the answer to the small holes. The key to success is using this snake drain correctly, operating it like a giant screw driver. Once you hit the P-Trap, extend it to only about 4 inches at a time, tighten the screw, and rotate the handle until it moves forward; then do another 4 inches, and so on. Extending it too long (like 6 inches) will cause it to kink.

We bought an older home that had been not had the best plumbing maintenance. Water was draining very slow from our bathtub and there was always an odor we couldn't quite tell what it was. I used this cobra mini snake and wow the mother of all clogs came out. Loosen the stopping scew pull out a little at a time until you feel the clog, tighten the screw and use the tool as a screwdriver. This product works!!!
