Are these big enough to sort 1000 piece jigsaws?

My friend is very happy with 1 box of the 6 trays for a 1000 piece puzzle. I like to over sort and I purchased 2 boxes of 12 trays, I generally end up using 8 trays for a 1000 piece puzzle. I've been doing puzzles for over 40 years and found puzzle mates trays the best trays on the market. Easy to stack, easy to wash, easy to store, strong and sturdy.

Are these made of plastic or cardboard. They look like plastic in the pictures, but the description says they are made of cardboard! Thank you.

They are plastic and quite sturdy. A useful addition to the jigsaws.

How deep are the trays ? Would I be able to use them for small pieces of Lego?

The trays are 2cm deep. I think that they would be fine for your Lego

Is there a lid to this set?

no there is no lid on the top peaces however the others are stacked under each other.
