Love it such a life saver.

I’ve had chronic migraines for years and this cap is awesome and just what migraine sufferers need! It fits great! It may look like something from outer space but it’s very comfortable!

My wife gets a lot of headaches and wanted to try this to help relieve migraine pain. As soon as it arrived, we both tried it on and I must say that even without putting it in the refrigerator/freezer, it was still very cool to the touch. It is fairly tight when putting it on, but that's a good thing because that is what helps apply the compression relief for your head. We then put it in the freezer overnight and tried it out again the next day. This thing gets pretty cold, but never to the point that it was frozen by any means. Even after sitting in the freezer for 24 hours, it was still completely flexible and I was able to put it back over my head. When coming right out of the freezer... you only need about 10 minutes with this thing to notice a big difference. Worth noting is that it's not just for your head. This would work great as a cold compress for any place on your body. When not in use, it folds flat and could be used like an ice pack to put on a bruise or other ailment. One warning... be prepared for your friends to make fun of you when you're wearing it. Admittedly, you look pretty goofy with this thing over your head (see picture), but it does its job. If you and your friends can also get a good laugh out of it, that's just a bonus.

Honestly, I wanted to hate this - I was really worried about it squeezing or feeling claustrophobic. Thankfully, the material is super soft with a memory foam like texture. It blocks out all light, but the cushioning is relaxed gentle around the eyes and nose to avoid feeling squeezed in or trapped. After freezing, the inner core material and outer fabric help to disperse the cold. I still let mine sit on the counter for five minutes before using it, and tried it in both the full coverage (photo 1) and forehead positions. It comes with a little storage bag, but you might want to use a plastic or silicone bag for the freezer. Photo 2 is of the stretchy back panel, which makes it easy to pull on and off. Note - I wouldn't necessarily recommend this for people with larger heads. Although it does stretch to fit my husband (hat size 7 5/8), he felt the pressure would be too much to pull over his head during a migraine. That said, not everyone has to wear it - for him, the cold gel and fabric are really soothing just placed over his face while lying down. Bottom line - I would purchase this product, and have already recommended to a couple of friends for their households!

Looks like the picture and actually got rid of my headache. Popped it in the freezer for a few hours and felt some head pain coming on. It did help but I wish it stayed cold longer. Really my only complaint is that the cold is short lived. I’ve been a chronic headache and migraine sufferer for years and saw these headache hats circulating on a support forum and had to give it a try. It wouldn’t really help back of head headaches in my opinion but was great for the headache I experienced which was toward the front. Overall got relief and that’s what counts!

The cold gel extends all the way around the head. The material covering the gel is very soft and flexible. It is also slightly stretchy. I found that the hat stays very flexible even after being in the freezer overnight. The cutout for the nose allows the hat to come down further on the head. Alternatively, the hat can be pushed up above the eyes. The hat does not take up much room in the freezer so I may just leave it there so that it is ready when needed. This is a nice tool for easing headaches.

The Vanlon head mask for pain, muscle relief and muscle relaxation doesn’t come with any insert of instructions. There is a 2 sentence caution on the side of the box but there aren’t any directions on how to warm or cool the mask. Very vague instructions which could be a safety concern if warming the product. The mask is comfortable as it is soft and gel-infused but as you can see by the picture, it is quite large. I loved the idea of this product as I frequently get headaches but disappointed in his lack of performance and efficacy.

I had this for about a week before I had a reason to try it out. My first impressions are that the hat gets super cold, almost too cold for the first couple minutes I wore it. The compression around my head was nice. My only complaint is that I wish the coldness lasted longer. Otherwise, it's comfortable to lay down with, and handy for times I'm working (I work from home) with a headache because I can slip it over my head, but keep it up over my eyes and it will still provide relief.
