The knives are sharp and cut like butter. I have been using the pairing knife to cut green coconuts and I broke my previous one while doing so. This pairing knife cuts the green coconut like it's nothing. The kitchen knife is very sharp and very easy to work with. I cut vegetables, meat and all sorts of things and I have to say this is the best kitchen knife I have ever used. Review: Low Quality - This got two stars because it comes in a pretty box but the knives are definitely not worth $200 as desertcart has it originally listed. These are entry level knives and it's misleading for desertcart to suggest the set is worth $200. They are definitely not high quality but I guess you get what you pay for.

Low Quality
This got two stars because it comes in a pretty box but the knives are definitely not worth $200 as Amazon has it originally listed. Dearly love these two knives
At first, I started to return the knives because I had sortof ordered by mistake, but then I used one...WOW..what a knife. Dearly love these two knives. They stay in the box and I am the only one allowed to use them.

False advertising
Everything is made in China they try to put Japan all over the labeled make you think they are Japanese knives but there are just Chinese knives

Sharp, and well built so far.
Have had them for over a month. Very sharp, not too thin. They look and feel great. Better than my Hinkels.
