Is it really refillable? I can open it and fill it up with another media? I want to fill this up with calcite.

Yes, I have refilled the media, it is easily done.

Does it come full of media?

I think so but its not the best media .I like the color changing media..

How do i open the canister to replace the di media? it seems like i need some sort of filter wrench. does anyone know where i can get that?

Ramon, take a hand towel and twist off thread end. Righty tighty lefty loosey-! No wrench needed.

Can it be connected to garden hose?

Hi Emy, No. the FD15 filter inlet/outlet can only fit a 1/4" RO tubing or a 3/8" tuning is you will use a 1/4" stem x 3/8" quick connect fitting. iSpring Water Systems, LLC
