nice gun for training and learning
it is sturdy that i like the mag is really good and realistic do not like that it dose not fall like the really 1911 its a bit tough too pull out the mag . it feels nice in the hand loading bullets makes it feel like 45 ACP/9mm rounds that i do like.i also think the bullet drop and power can be improved with a stronger spring but still easy too pull and chamber a bullet one thing id like too also see is a working safety but over all very pleased great train / starter gun Toy. For gun control and or safety .

Awesome little toy for the price
As mentioned in the other reviews, do not buy this for competitive nerf games. It is weak and inaccurate. Here are some reasons I love it though. It has a loadable magazine. 1:1 scale and model of a M1.1911 pistol. While the scale and model are realistic, the colors help kids tell that it is a toy gun. It doesn't shoot very hard. I like this bcuz it means my kids and I can shoot eachother. They like it when I catch the bullet. Clip falls out when empty, feels good. It can be fired like a muzzleloader if you want to skip loading the magazine. I hope this gun lasts a while cuz we love it.

Fun toy! Would definitely purchase again.
My 13yr old daughter purchased this toy gun with her own money and she loves it! It really is a neat gun, would make a fun gift. The mechanics of it are fun with the pull back action, magazine ejection, and loading of bullets. It does not shoot too far, maybe 7 feet give or take, but it’s fun because the bullets don’t hurt so it’s okay to shoot at each other. I would recommend for older kids and adults due to the bullets being small and have a potential to be a choking hazard and easy to lose if not paying attention. The magazine holds 5 bullets and the toy comes with 10, so that’s good.

Broke in a day
The “firing pin” broke after 24 hours. Do not recommend.

Fun toy with passable quality at best
I like the fact that they are trying to achieve a somewhat realistic experience with this gun but, the quality is passable at best. Less than an hour into owning this toy, my son was already having trouble with the bullets jamming which could be a pain if you, like my son, fails to think and tries to rack the gun with chambered bullet jammed leading to the gun attempting to chamber another bullet to an otherwise jammed gun. This, I feel is the gun's biggest flaw to an otherwise fun toy. Durability could become questionable down the road with us experiencing problems very early into owning this toy. I can only hope getting a couple months worth of play from this toy. I suppose that would justify the price if it does last that long.

Cheap fun
For what it is - a cheap toy for kids 3 and up - this is awesome (I present no philosophical stance regarding giving toy guns to kids). The gun is dimensionally accurate. The slide racks, the trigger pulls, the magazine release button functions. The magazine is easy to load if you follow instructions and push the bullets in from the back; it holds 5 bullets. The bullets have a silicone rubber tip (the actual bullet part) with a hard plastic case/base. These parts do not function: the hammer, slide lock, safety, grip safety. The ejector port is also solid (no hole). You can take it apart with a small philips screwdriver. The mechanism is a simple spring and plunger. When the gun 'fires' it launches the whole cartridge - not just the actual bullet. The slide needs to be racked fully, or it won't fire. This might be hard for little kids, not because of strength, but just remembering to do that every time. Velocity (with mine, at least) is about 14 fps. If you hold the gun level at 3 feet off the ground, it will launch the bullets about 9 feet out. If you aim it up about 20 degrees, it will arc them out to about 15 feet. Accuracy is what you expect - at 5 feet away, you can easily hit a person, at 10 feet you might miss. The bullets do not hurt at all. At point blank range, it just feels like someone flicking you with their finger. On another note, I find this would be good for some aspects of firearms safety training. Because it's full size, and it can be chambered and fire without the magazine inserted, it can be used to illustrate certain safety points. It fits a real holster, and the trigger pull is actually about the same as a factory 1911. It's also a super bright color, easy to identify as a toy.

No issues here, yet. Great item!
What I loved about this item was that it is very realistic in looks, and that you can get extra parts for it, all while keeping a fairly cheap price. As the title states, at the time of this review, the toy is "Intended for Fun, Not Distance or Accuracy", something which people seem to lose sight of, when buying something so cheap. It won't go half a mile for a price less than thirty US. The bullets have a nice soft tip to them, and the area that would be the primer is nicely rounded, smooth, with no sharp transition lines. The toy has great colors to it, that make sure everyone knows it is a toy, and not the real thing. The 5 rounds for the magazine can be pushed in from top to bottom, or you can hold the mag follower down and slide the rounds in from the front - your choice! A word of caution to all - Do not drop these mags, or set them down with any small drops. Doing so will cause the top 2 rounds to launch out and across the room... The frame does feel a bit thin, when you're pulling the slide back, and there is a noticeable gap between the two halves, but for a children's toy, it is decently acceptable. The trigger has a nice squeeze and break to it, with no issues seen yet. The only thing I would change is that I would make the screws smaller or more hidden. The bright stainless steel screws stick out like a sore leg limp. Overall, a great item!

lousy ,inferior product, waste of money. of course it is a replica toy and has only 3 functional parts- magazine, magazine catch, Triger and sliding top to cock or prime the gun. of these only magazine catch and Triger functions. remaining parts barely work.

Funcional sin embargo es muy debil. Solo es un juguete. Pero es una buena replica y funciona pare entender el funcionamiento del arma
