Can you use this on the water as a raft?

I have a backpacking friend who does this on lakes in the back country; but then the concern over getting it dried off before putting sleeping bag on at night. I prefer a quick swim!

Can someone who's purchased recently comment on the noise level when rolling around? I've read that the latest models improved on the noise issue.

Anyone actually weight this? The stated weight is 340 g but I got this on a digital scale at 440 g. It's a great pad, but off by 100 g seems a lot..
