It fit perfectly on my hose.

Hose was completely fine except for the broken coupling. This works well to replace the coupling. Note you will need the other connector piece for the spigot. I didn’t realize and had to order that next.

Super easy. Super secure. No tools needed. You DO need to have the tap connector to which you would connect this repair connector. That part (as of today) is at this url: https://www.amazon.com/Gardena-36002-1-GARDENA-Tap-Connector/dp/B00004SDY4

Great idea, I didn't even know this was an option and almost tossed my hose. My only thing is make sure you purchase the correct part. I have now spent double the money because I rushed and ordered the wrong end (male). There is no repair kit for the female end. 3 Amazon orders later 😐 and hope to have my garden hose fixed.
